Tournament Report

 

The 2^nd Annual Tigers Six-A-Side Tournament, hosted and organized by the Houston Tigers Cricket Club in Stafford, TX concluded successfully over the weekend with favorites FCC (Friends Cricket Club) led by Kuldeep Patel winning the Finals, overcoming a spirited challenge by MCC (Memorial Cricket Club), captained by David Banks, the most experienced side in the tournament. The tournament saw in action potential future US national team players like Sushil Nadkarni (FCC), Abid Mian (MCC) and Asif Mohammed (HCC). BCC (Bhakta Cricket Club) and HFCC (Houston Falcons Cricket Club) finished in 3^rd place.

Semi-Finals:

FCC (101/0 in 5 overs, Sushil Nadkarni 74*, Ankit Mehta 22*) beat BCC (41/4, Mike Bhakta 21, Niraj Shah 2 wkts) by 60 runs
MCC (70/1 in 5 overs, Mike Greathead 30*, Prabhu P 25*) beat HFCC (67/4, Salman 35, Abid 2 wkts) by 5 wickets
